#WonderLoves on Lockdown: Sunny Days
Date
May 05, 2020
After the crazy storms last week & rainbows on Friday we are now looking ahead to a sunnier forecast for the May Bank Holiday. We offer these tips to all our friends, clients and colleagues isolating at home.

Cinco De Mayo
In a week that will see celebrations of two military victories, today we'll be joining Thomasina Miers TimeOut instagram takeover this evening at 6pm for a Cinco de Mayo feast. She'll be showing us how to make ancho chicken tacos & guacamole - head to the shops now for your ingredients!
If you've missed this and catching up later in the week, why not check out The Sun Tavern's quarantini cocktail kits, including the Margarita (amongst other pre-mixed delights). Just £30 for 8 serves will get you well into the spirit, even if you are a bit late to the party! It's also a great way to support a local business - win win.

Solidarity Sounds
As well as raising a cap for those that fought on VE Day this Friday we'll also be cheering for Wonder heroes Vanessa & Alice who have pulled together a fantastic line-up for the Solidarity Sounds - Online Bank Holiday festival.
Running from 10am-11:30pm there's something for everyone from MorningGloryville's family friendly rave; house plant, coffee & drumming workshops; yoga & meditation classes; fantastic musicians; stories for littles ones (and grown-ups too!) a cocktail masterclass and DJ's into the evening. Schedule details going up soon on the facebook page.

The event is raising money for local charity Helping Hands Hackney and Refuge. Tickets are give what you can from £3-10 - a bargain for 13hrs of fun, and a lot cheaper than those Glasto tickets you didn't get anyway.

Family Fun
It's hard to see a three day sunny weekend stretching ahead of us and not want to throw everything in the car and drive somewhere.
But instead, take a leaf from the team here for your own "camping" excursion in the safety of your own home. If you've got a tent, pitch it in the back garden like Design Director Dave with pizzas, fire pit & toasted marshmallows. Our MD Ben really honed his production skills by fashioning an outdoor cinema from goalposts, a bed sheet & mini projector (we could have done with you PR Live & IMA Solutions!)
Or why not bring the outdoors in like Neil or Ben with tipis,"campfires", picnics & maybe even some wild animal spotting....
