Producer/Project Manager

Producer/ProjectManager

Location: Hybrid working, 3 days in the office in Shoreditch, London

  • You’re an experienced Producer/Project Manager, looking for the next step. You’re here to help manage projects from start to finish, ensuring client communications, live output, and customer experience are consistent and of the highest quality whilst keeping a close eye on budgets and the bottom line.

You’ll manage effective communications between stakeholders, suppliers and other teams and you’re key to maintaining and building on existing client relationships to create a strong, open and honest partnership. You’re knowledgeable but know when to question and interrogate to ensure the best possible end result. You’re ambitious for autonomy, but also a safe pair of hands and great at managing upwards - providing support to senior colleagues and keeping the team well informed, flagging challenges. Ultimately, you’re a key part of ensuring we deliver great events!

    • Maintain operational excellence in the day-to-day running of your projects - following our processes to a ‘t’ and being organised and knowledgeable
    • Deliver outstanding customer service, whilst keeping a tight hold of the budget and managing clients' expectations proactively
    • Contribute to idea generation sessions to explore creative solutions that both excite the client, and the attendee
    • Build fee proposals for review against a project timeline
    • Lead in the production & administration of job folders, onsite docs & schedules
    • Present solutions and ideas to clients succinctly and confidently
    • Manage any updates and changes to the brief and ensure internal teams are up-to-speed and have a clear understanding of changes
    • Keep all event stakeholders aware of changes and subsequent budget implications - be commercially aware of both client and Wonder impact
    • Liaise, negotiate and contract relevant suppliers
    • Manage budget management from start to reconciliation
    • Manage all pre-production planning for your projects
    • Manage internal and external content contributors and creators and ensure deadlines are met
    • Onsite - be an expert - brief staff and crew (where appropriate) and manage clients including walk-throughs and troubleshooting, where relevant
    • Manage outcomes and complete any relevant onsite reports (for internal and external use)
    • Create and share post-event reports to answer ROI
    • Participate or lead on client debriefs
    • Contribute to new briefs and be involved in the response process
    • Contribute to client development - build great relationships
    • Help implement continuous process improvement and best practice for Wonder
    • Act as role model for colleagues and junior members of the team
    • You must have great live events expertise, ideally in B2B conferences and experiences.
    • You’re able to work with simultaneous teams and multiple stakeholders, ensuring that they have clear direction
    • You’re a strong communicator, great problem solver and can take the initiative - you’re confident in your own decisions
    • You’re energetic, ambitious and able to lead as well as collaborate
    • You’re process-oriented and super-organised
    • You’re ideally comfortable using Mac and Google Drive & Procim (but we can train you if not!)
