Amelia Shepherd joins Wonder as Director of Growth

Amelia Shepherd has joined Amplify’s business campaign and experience agency Wonder as director of growth.
Shepherd has been handed a remit of building the agency and its reputation, working closely with its senior leadership team. Wonder’s current client roster includes Google, Canva and Visa.
At Amplify, she will share her learnings with its group global culture, reputation and growth team. She will report into Dan Keene, director at Wonder.
Keene said: “Amelia's experience, passion, energy and creativity mean she's going to play a massive role in helping us grow by bringing to life the 'possibility' mindset that sits at the heart of everything we do."
Shepherd joins from Tro, where she held the position of managing director for nearly four years. She spent a total of 11 years at the shared experiential agency.
As managing director, Shepherd says she helped shape the business by enhancing its product offering, redefining its business development approach and nurturing the team. Before taking on the managing director role, Shepherd was client services director and group account director.
Shepherd’s career in the experiential industry also includes stints at Expose, Tequila within the TBWA network, and Banner Corporation, which is now absorbed into WPP.
Alongside Wonder, Shepherd is an active mentor for Elevate, a six-month programme that provides mentoring within the events industry.
Amplify had acquired a majority stake in Wonder by 2021, when it was announced the two agencies would collaborate when opportunities arose but would operate as distinct businesses.
At the time, Amplify’s founder and global chief executive said: "Together, we will take an audience-first and campaign approach to B2B and B2E experience and marketing. Working with [Wonder founder and chief executive] Ben Turner, Wonder's driving force, we're creating a home for who we consider the best and most progressive in the industry."
