In collaboration with Amsterdam based agency First Day of Spring, we were asked to help fashion brand Kipling launch its new global campaign #WeMakeHappy.

The aim of the campaign was to celebrate the people who make the world a beautiful place, and encourage Londoners to share messages with the special people in their lives, spreading joy and celebrating relationships. Recipients of the messages were surprised with an invitation to pick up their message at a special event.

The activation took the form of a larger than life installation featuring over 200 vibrantly coloured balloons.

Covering a large section of London’s South Bank next to the OXO Tower, guests were given the opportunity to explore the installation to find their own message, and passersby spread the #WeMakeHappy news. Our design delivered on the dramatic and impactful aesthetic – which resulted in 100,000 people talking about this activation on social media as it happened and a special feature in Campaign.
