How has October been and gone already?

The past few months at Wonder have been nothing short of extraordinary and we’re not showing any signs of slowing down as we charge, full steam ahead, into the final stretch of the year.

First up, a massive shoutout to the Wonder team that have been smashing it on some incredible recent projects. We had an unforgettable summer with Vodafone's activation at Glastonbury and hitting the road with the Google Next Tour - making an impact across multiple European cities along the way.

One of our standout moments was our recent Wonder Together event at Soho House in London. Entitled 'Matters of the Heart' and led by cognitive scientist Katherine Templar Lewis and our Executive Creative Director David Crease, the session explored the power of emotions in experience design.

In other news, we were shortlisted for three nominations at The Drum Awards - the coveted Agency of the Year, along with two B2B categories for our work on Google Cloud Next. A huge thanks to our clients and partners for making this possible.

And finally, we’ve released three editions of our Little Wonders newsletter since the last update, each packed with insights, ideas and inspiration.

Led by the brilliant Katherine Templar Lewis, we unpicked the fascinating world of emotions in experience design. Guests took part in a number of live neuroaesthetic experiments, exploring how multi-sensory stimuli and emotional arcs can create lasting connections.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us - the energy in the room was electric! We can’t wait to share more with you soon.

"It was a fascinating discussion with Katherine at Wonder Together. Gaining a deeper understanding of empathy and emotions is our most powerful asset when crafting experiences that genuinely resonate with audiences on a more human level."

The fabulous Jess Almond has been promoted to the role of Client Director. Jess has led some of our most complex projects, bringing calm leadership, impeccable organisation and passion for every detail. In this new role, Jess will be key in nurturing our client relationships and their evolving needs to help them deliver even more impactful experiences. Huge congratulations, Jess!

We’re also thrilled to welcome two interns who’ve made bold career pivots to follow their passion in events. Cora, a former NHS worker, is excited to dive into a more creative, hands-on role, while Leonie, with a background in fashion retail, has discovered a new love for the fast-paced world of event planning. Welcome aboard Cora and Leonie.

With The Drum Awards only a couple of weeks away, Wonder is proudly shortlisted in three categories:

    • Agency of the Year
    • Experiential: B2B
    • B2B: Experience or Event

Both of the project-related categories are for Google Cloud Next 2023, Google Cloud's flagship EMEA experience.

A huge thank you to the Wonder team, our fantastic Google Cloud clients, all our valued partners, and the judges for this recognition.
