The experience features a dynamic mix of keynotes, breakout sessions, hands-on codelabs and expert-led training, along with valuable opportunities to connect with Googlers and the wider Google Cloud partner community.

    The event theme centred on AI with content tailored to decision-makers on day one and developers on day two, demanding a flexible high-performing environment to match.

    Building on the success of last year, the goal was to deliver an evolved event that scaled up while becoming even more efficient. With more demos, exhibitors and sub-tracks than before, as well as 3,500 people attending, we needed to maximise every inch of Tobacco Dock to enhance the delegate experience and keep pace with a packed agenda.

    Our strategy was simple but powerful: shift perception and position Google Cloud as a leader in innovation through a ‘show, don’t tell’ approach.

    We brought our AI story to life with real-world examples. By spotlighting tangible applications from UK businesses, we changed how Google Cloud AI is perceived by demonstrating impact, not just potential.

    This approach was woven into every part of the event from the keynote to the breakouts, partner speakers, C-suite track and beyond.

    The Summit was designed to shift perceptions of Google Cloud’s AI capabilities by showing our story in action. Across five immersive stages, we brought our vision to life through keynote moments, lightning talks, hands-on demos and lounges that encouraged exploration, conversation and play.

    Major announcements included new data residency for machine learning, deeper support for the startup ecosystem and our commitment to democratising AI. A live Sky News broadcast from the event underlined Google Cloud’s leadership in this space.

    From the calm welcome of a live string quartet to the buzz of a packed expo floor, the experience was rich and layered. We reimagined the venue with bold graphics and clever spatial design to immerse attendees fully in the world of Google Cloud. The swag store became a breakout hit with a digital scavenger hunt driving exploration across the entire building.

    Sustainability remained a focus with reused partner stands and multi-purpose rooms that transformed quickly throughout the day. Delegates could dive into Gen AI labs, meet experts in lounges or connect in spaces like Leaders Connect and Startup Connect.

    Each day wrapped with a high-energy drinks reception and DJ set, ending on the same bold note as it began.
